The key red grape in Burgundy, and responsible for some of the greatest French wines, Pinot Noir can range from delicate and light to complex and full. With simple flavors such as cherries, plums, raspberries and strawberries to more complex flavors including chocolate, figs, prunes, smokiness, and truffles we will experience the full range from France to New Zealand, Chile to Oregon!
Each participant will receive a beautiful Riedel Crystal Vinum Extreme stem from which to drink and to take home at the end of the evening, a $30 value

 A Gallop Across the Globe
A Wine Tasting to Benefit the Willow Fund for Retired Lesson Horses

Join us for a fantastic tasting of various wines from around the world to support a great cause. The Willow Fund and Thistle Ridge Farm have been saving lesson horses, like Bambi, Blossom and Quasar (pictured) and giving them a lovely retirement for more than 15 years. All three worked as lesson horses here in NYC at Claremont Riding Academy and are now living happily at Thistle Ridge in Oxford, Mississippi. These are just a few of the horses retired there.
At this event we will be tasting reds, whites, and bubblies from all over the globe. Ever wanted to try a wine from New York State? How about South Africa? Now is your chance to get to try a large variety of wines from various places and compare flavors, textures, and aromas and give back to these amazing animals at the same time.
A portion of the ticket price and sales from this event will be donated to Thistle Ridge Farm to help support the daily needs as well as medical needs of these great Willow Fund Horses.
