A classic example of Syrah from the Northern Rhone by one of the regions most respected winemakers. This bottling has gorgeous, spicy fruit up front, with cherry, plum, and pepper flavors on the palate and a touch of spicy oak on the finish.

Deep ruby. Fresh red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by dried flowers and smoky minerals. The peppery note repeats on the finish, which is nicely focused and long.

Dark garnet color with purple reflections. Aromatic dark fruit on the nose with blackberries, minerals and a hint of spice. Powerful, rich and dense tannins on the palate with tight tannins and good length.
