 Wines of the Loire Valley
Monday February 22

From Muscadet in the west to Sancerre in the east, the Loire Valley has a very diverse range of wines. Whether you are looking for still or sparkling; red, white or rose; table wine or dessert wine the Loire has some amazing options. Join us for this 2 hour class where you will learn the sub-regions and grape varietals of the Loire Valley while tasting 8-10 wines. Each participant will get 2 Riedel crystal glasses to taste from and to take home.

Wines of the Southern Hemisphere

From Argentina and Chile to South Africa to Australia and New Zealand, the southern hemisphere is producing some outstanding wines. Join us for this 2 hour class where you will learn about the main regions, grape varietals and wine laws of the southern hemisphere while tasting 8-10 wines.

 Introduction to Wine Tasting

You know if you like a wine or not, but you may not know why. Come learn the different components of wine. You'll practice using your eyes, nose and taste buds as you sample 8-10 wines, while learning about clarity, body, tannins, acidity, sweetness, flavor concentration and balance. Each participant will get 2 Riedel crystal glasses to taste from and to take home.

 Touring Italian Wines

 Demystifying French Wines

What’s a Pouilly Fume versus a Pouilly Fuisse? Or a Sancerre versus a Sauternes? Take a tour of the major wine regions of France. During this 2 hour class you will taste 8-10 wines while learning the grape varietals of each region and how to decipher French wine labels.

From Rias Raixas to Penedes and Rioja to Jumilla, Spanish wines are rising quickly in popularity. Join us for this 2 hour class and taste 8-10 different wines while learning Spanish wine laws, label terms and the major Spanish regions and variatals.
